The PERS system offers five assist modes delivering up to 400% additional boost beyond the power of your own pedalling.
Power comes from a 700Wh battery (with regenerative braking adding back up to 25% range) and on the most powerful assist setting the trike can reach speeds of more than 30kph in just a few seconds.
With no mechanical link, the front power hub generates electricity when you pedal. That electricity is then wired to the rear wheel hub via some smart technology to drive the wheels.
To regenerate power whilst coasting or travelling downhill the pedals can be reversed to charge the battery adding up to 25% more range.
